How Whiskers behaves on a wall
Vista Paint publishes a light reflectance value of 95.1 for this shade. At LRV 95.1 this is near the top of the scale, in off-white territory. It bounces light around a room, and it also shows every undertone in the surfaces near it — flooring and daylight will pull it warmer or cooler than the chip suggests. For trim that reads as a clear edge rather than a smudge, aim about 30 LRV points away — roughly LRV 65 and below. Its red channel runs ahead of its blue, so it reads warm and will sit comfortably next to timber, brass and terracotta. Order by the code, not the name, and put a test patch on the wall before you commit — a screen cannot show you how this shade behaves in your own light.
