Valspar publishes a light reflectance value of 79.2 for this shade. At LRV 79.2 this is near the top of the scale, in off-white territory. It bounces light around a room, and it also shows every undertone in the surfaces near it — flooring and daylight will pull it warmer or cooler than the chip suggests. For trim that reads as a clear edge rather than a smudge, aim about 30 LRV points away — roughly LRV 49 and below. With 24 points between its strongest and weakest channel it holds a readable brown cast, so it will not flatten into a neutral once it is on four walls.
