How S390 behaves on a wall
Tikkurila publishes a light reflectance value of 81.0 for this shade. At LRV 81.0 this is near the top of the scale, in off-white territory. It bounces light around a room, and it also shows every undertone in the surfaces near it — flooring and daylight will pull it warmer or cooler than the chip suggests. For trim that reads as a clear edge rather than a smudge, aim about 30 LRV points away — roughly LRV 51 and below. With 105 points between its strongest and weakest channel it holds a readable yellow cast, so it will not flatten into a neutral once it is on four walls.
