How Go To Gray behaves on a wall
Our estimate, worked out from the hex colour, puts the light reflectance value of this PPG Paints shade at about 69.2; PPG Paints's own figure may differ. At an estimated LRV of 69.2 this is a light shade that still carries colour rather than reading as off-white. It gives back most of the light in the room, which suits north-facing walls that need the help. For trim that reads as a clear edge rather than a smudge, aim about 30 LRV points away — roughly LRV 39 and below. Its red and blue channels are within a few points of each other, so it has no undertone worth naming — it takes its cast from whatever it sits beside. Order by the code, not the name, and put a test patch on the wall before you commit — a screen cannot show you how this shade behaves in your own light.
Go To Gray equivalents in other paint brands
The closest color to PPG Paints Go To Gray from each brand we carry, measured with CIEDE2000 on the manufacturers' published color values. Below 1 the difference is practically invisible; below 2 you'd only notice it with the chips side by side. Screens and printed chips aren't paint, so compare real samples before you buy. In the Muro app you can put two of them on a photo of your own wall and look at them in your light.
