How Scala 09.12.18 (RAL 1024) behaves on a wall
Brillux publishes a light reflectance value of 32.8 for this shade. At LRV 32.8 this sits mid-scale — dark enough to hold its own against white trim, light enough not to close a room in. Mid-tones shift the most between daylight and lamplight, so check it at both ends of the day. For trim that reads as a clear edge rather than a smudge, aim about 30 LRV points away — roughly LRV 63 and up. With 100 points between its strongest and weakest channel it holds a readable brown cast, so it will not flatten into a neutral once it is on four walls. Order by the code, not the name, and put a test patch on the wall before you commit — a screen cannot show you how this shade behaves in your own light.

The closest color to Brillux Scala 09.12.18 (RAL 1024) from each brand we carry, measured with CIEDE2000 on the manufacturers' published color values. Below 1 the difference is practically invisible; below 2 you'd only notice it with the chips side by side. Screens and printed chips aren't paint, so compare real samples before you buy. In the Muro app you can put two of them on a photo of your own wall and look at them in your light.
