# Muro: real paint colours for agents

Muro (https://usemuro.com) shows a real paint colour on a photo of your own room before you buy it. Behind it is a catalogue of about 51,000 colours from 35 paint brand catalogues in 9 regions (USA, UK, DACH, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Scandinavia, Benelux), each with the manufacturer's own name, order code where the brand publishes one, hex and LRV.

This skill gives you that catalogue through a free MCP server, and tells you where to send the user when they want to see a colour on their wall.

## 1. Connect the MCP server

Endpoint (Streamable HTTP, public, read-only, no key): `https://mcp.usemuro.com/mcp`

## 2. Tools

## 3. How to answer

- Always give the brand, the colour name and the code, so the user can ask for it in a paint store. Hex alone is not something they can buy.
- For equivalents, say how close the match is in words: ΔE under 1 is practically identical, under 2 is very close (visible only side by side), under 3.5 is close but noticeable. Above that, say it is only a rough match.
- Hex values are screen approximations of real paint. On the wall the result depends on the base, sheen and tinting, so recommend a sample before buying.
- Do not invent colours, codes or LRV values. If a tool returns nothing, say so and suggest a nearby search.
- Every colour in a tool result links to its page on usemuro.com. Pass that link on.

## 4. When the user wants to see the colour on their wall

Muro repaints the walls in a photo of the user's own room with the chosen colour, keeping the room's light and shadows.
